Consider the reaction: P4 (s) + 5O2 (g) = P4O10 (s) How many grams of phosphorus react with 59.17 L of oxygen (O2) at STP (standard temperature and pressure) to form tetraphosphorus decaoxide? At STP temperature is 273K and 1 atm. I know how to do this with a typical PV=nRT problem, but not a decomposition problem like this. Any help would be really great. Thanks!
