Those factors are going to be ugly. You should probably just find them with the quadratic formula and write the thing as factors. That's what I'd do, anyway.

Its actually called "completing the "square: divide the coefficient of x by 2 and square it! : x^2-5x+25/4-25/4+1=0 , (x-5/2)^2-21/4=0
, (x-5/2)^2=21/4 , x-5= ±√21/4 , x= 5±√21/4
