HELP!!!! How much heat is absorbed during production of 112g of NO by the combination of nitrogen and oxygen? N2(g)+O2(g)→2NO(g), ΔH = + 43 kcal/mol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The energy diagram shown represents the chemical reaction between solid ammonium chloride and solid barium hydroxide octahydrate: 2NH4Cl(s)+Ba(OH)2⋅8H2O(s)→2NH3(aq)+BaCl2(aq)+10H2O(l) The ΔH for this reaction is 54.8kJ . How much energy would be absorbed if 26.3g of NH4Cl reacts? Express y

OpenStudy (aaronq):

For the first, the ask you for the energy, so multiply the ΔH by the moles of NO. You have to account for the stoichiometric coefficients from the balanced reaction, so you have to divide moles of NO by 2 before multiplying it by ΔH.
