Well if the wall of 1.25 inches thick, that gives the inside of the pipe an effective diameter of 6 - 2.5, yes? So the diameter is 3.5 in, which makes the radius half of that which is 1.75 in. To get the volume you multiply the area of the face (in this case a circle) by the depth. Try it :)
