Let f(x) = \frac { 1 } { 6} x + 9 , \quad 1 \le x \le 2 The domain of f^{-1} is the interval [A,B]

hartnn (hartnn):

do you know domain of inverse function is same as range of original function ? so you just need to find range of f(x) can u ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you find the range?

hartnn (hartnn):

you just plug in extreme values of x in domain! so put x =1, f(1) =... put x=2, f(2) =..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome ^_^

hartnn (hartnn):

if you want me to verify your range, tell me what u get :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats okay thank you though! i submitted it already and it said it was right.

hartnn (hartnn):

awesome! :)
