What mass of HNO3 is needed to prepare 250mL of 0.22N solution? I'm sure this is really simple but I don't know how to go about solving this.. Does it require a formula? Pleasee help! ):

First, what is the molecular weight of HNO3? Next, molarity, M is moles per liter. Does that help? (I'm trying to work in hints.) :)

Yeah i was abit confused as well seeing n? So what eighthourlunch is trying to hint at is that your given the molarity. your given mL which u need to convert to Ls which is .250L and ur given .22 number of moles. So all it is is (.22mols/.250)* 63.01g which is the molar mass of HNO3. and you should get 55gs of HNO3

Thankkk you so much!!!
