your most welcome, just remember that a non metallic oxide will make the water acidic which will drop the PH of water from 7 to depends on the concentration of acid but it will always go up...to maybe 4 or 5...depends. For example one of the component that makes the rain acidic is sulfur. Sulfur is usually released in the atmosphere by a combustion of fossil fuel. It enters in the atmosphere in the form of SO2, now because it is an unstable compound it further reacts with oxygen and make sulfur trioxide SO3. And when this compound combines with water it makes sulfuric acid H2SO4. Because the quantity of sulfur trioxide is very low as compare to the moisture in the air, it doesn't really make a strong acid but it does make the rain water a little acidic... as it says in the question 6.....remember as you go up the scale the concentration of acid get stronger and stronger. Cheers ^_^
