How would you find the maximum of f(t)?

Part A: I'm guessing that the maximum is when the foxhound clears the hurdle (g(t)) and the Labrador clears the hurdle (f(t)) ie. my interpretation. And comparing the two would be saying the foxhound gets to a higher height than the Labrador. Part B: Again if you have a graph of f(t) vs. t we have t as our X or domain and are f(t) as our Y or Range. So finding the x intercept of the two functions ie. [where f(t) equals 0 and g(t) equals you are given one of them in the table (where g(t) equals zero; t equals 1.5)] is easy. Compare the two and see which is bigger. The x or t intercepts of the graph will represent when the foxhound and the Labrador hit the ground, after they cleared the hurdle. Part C: The y or (f(t) or g(t)) intercepts of the problem are where t is equal to zero and I'm guessing that in the context of the problem would mean that the two animals are at the starting point.
