http://moodle.rockyview.ab.ca/mod/book/view.php?id=126279&chapterid=93701 can someone help me with this?
What are you having trouble with specifically?
the chart
and the Try This questions
I read the article twice already
can you please help me @danh13
Are you clear on what the different types of relationships there are? (eg predation, parasitism, competition, etc)
yes
I dont have a problem with that just the part w/ population that increases/decreases/remains stable
Alright, so whomever is negatively affected, their population will decrease, and whomever is positively affected, their population will increase. Except for the case of parasitism, because the nature of that relationship is such that the parasite doesn't kill the host.
ok so the 1st one is parasitic and tapeworm is positive while human negative ?
human is negatively affected yes, but the population is unaffected because they arent killed by the parasite.
so what should i fill in the chart?
All you need to say is that the tapeworm population increases
what about the stable part?
