OpenStudy (mony01):

Find the limit.

OpenStudy (mony01):

\[\lim_{x \rightarrow 5^{-}}e ^{\frac{ 3 }{ 5-x }}\]

OpenStudy (b87lar):

Approaching 5 from the left will make the exponent tend to +infinity. The function raised to +inf will be therefore going unbounded to +inf. So \[\lim_{x\rightarrow5^{-} } e^{\frac{3}{5-x}}=\infty \]

OpenStudy (mony01):

thank you for the explanation
