NOT IN RIGHT SECTION SORRY
near a freeway in dc, there are 2 cell towers 5 miles apart even though they can be 10 miles apart and still cover all the area in between. why are they so close?
Think of circles. If you draw it out you will see why in fact they are so close.

i learned at school
Err, fix that for 10 m not 5m lol
|dw:1386983785918:dw| one tower at each vertex since towers send signals in 3 vague directions
Also, as the distance from the towers increases, your signal decreases. Maybe that is another cause they are looking for. That is more of a discussion type questions
most towers are about 10 miles about like those near normal roads
thanks for helping me. but i still dont understand
@biggi3lue i still dont understand please help
I'm thinking. Could you explain from the beginning? As far as I understand, the question is: There are radio towers placed evenly along a straight road, 5miles apart. Their signal reaches up to 10 miles. Why is it done this way? Or am I missing something? What's the hexagon for?
think of a hexagon. one tower at each point
