Help finding slope/direction of line from equation?
I am to state the direction of the graph of the line. I am attempting to find the slope in a few of these questions, but I am really stuck on a couple of them. For example: \[\frac{ y }{ 4 } = -6\] how would I find the slope from this equation? Would I multiply -6 by 4? Another one I'm having trouble with is: \[y+x = 3\]If anyone could help me out with how to find the slope (and y-intercept I suppose, but I do not need to graph these, just state the direction of the line) of these, I would appreciate it very much!!

y/4 = -6, so y = -24 that is the line parallel to the x axis , therefore, the slope of it is 0
for the second one. y + x = 3 , so, y = -x + 3 the number in the front of x is -1, so the slope is -1 . keep in mind, just consider the slope of the line by this way when you isolate y .
