Find the derivative and simplify y=(lnx)/(e^2x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(lnx)'(e^2x)-(lnx)(e^2x)' / (e^2x)^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Quotient rule

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I used the quotient rule and then I get stuck because I don't know how to simplify it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you show us what you have so far?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ f(x)g'(x)-g(x)f'(x)) }{ (f(x)^{2}) }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(\frac{ 1 }{ x })(e ^{2x})-(lnx) (e ^{2x})/ (e ^{2x})^{2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

follow the top quotient rule formula, and also when you derive e^2x you would get 2e^2x
