i think that you need to find the co-ordinates of the points (vertices) and then you can solve this (as per the graph is plotted) you can do it like this first find the co-ordinates of the points of side TU i.e. the co-ordinates of the points T and U then find the co-ordinates of points Q and R of side QR of triangle PQR and then find their slope by the formula m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) hope this helps you

yes you are right and the slopes of both the sides come out to be infinite(as they are mutually parallel to the y axis and the y axs has its slope = infinite) or else if you are not satisfied with this , you can do this same with any other side like SQ and VT and good job!

okay , to show paralle line have same slope , use the equation of slope to find the slope of a pair of parallel lines the eqn is y2 - y1/x2 - x1 in line segment SR , S = (-8,1) & R is (-2,7) so , y2 is 7 & y1 is 1 x2 is -2 & x1 is -8

@luka1998 Click on the attachment above. It makes sense although it is not a proof that all parallel lines in the world have the same slope.
