How do I find the carrying capacity of this differential equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dp/dt=kp(1-P)

Given that p(0)-4/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

P(0)=4/5

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

From what I read, the general formula is :\[\frac{ dp }{ dt }=rp(1-\frac{ p }{ K })\] With K being the carrying capacity. So in your case I think K=1 is the carrying capacity. cf. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logistic_function#Time-varying_carrying_capacity
