OpenStudy (anonymous):

If uniform electric field is applied to a electron, how will it affect it's kinetic energy?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there will be a net force on the particle as a result of which there will be some work done and hence its kinetic energy will change(if initially at rest it increases)

OpenStudy (theeric):

And, since the field is uniform, the force at every point is uniform. Based on \(F\times d=E_k\), the kinetic energy would increase ______ with respect to ______. Hehe... Any guesses or questions, feel free to ask.

OpenStudy (theeric):

And \(F\times d=W\), that's an equation for work. But here all the work gives the electron kinetic energy.
