plugin the boundary values, if zero exists withing the interval : u should get different sings for f(x)

to check if the zero lies between -2 and -1, calculate below first :- f(-2) = ? f(-1) = ?

An easier way to do that instead of using a calculator is using Excel or Open Office Calc.
