OpenStudy (sweetburger):

What yield would be the most important indicator of efficiency for a chemical manufacturing company?

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

this was a test question earlier i picked actual yield don't know if i was rite or wrong

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

no rush to answer i dont care if you answer this in 3 days just would like to know if this is wrong or rite

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

What are the choices?

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

percent yield, theoretical yield, actual yield , and something else that was obviously wrong

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Wouldn't it be the percent yield?

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

Percent yield = actual yield/Theoretical yield This essentially tells you how much of your reactant went into forming the product. Theoretical yield being the absolute max amount of product you can obtain with the amount of reactant you used. Actual yield being just the amount you obtained experimentally.

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

also there should be a multiplied by 100 in that equation above :\
