I have a question about slope intercept form. I have a slope of 1.5 and coordinates 0,0 and 1.9, 3 how do you put this in slope intercept form
slope intercept form of an equation is: \(y=mx+b\) , where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept in your case, m=1.5 and you need to solve for b using the coordinates given (x,y)
and how do i solve the other part
using the coordinates given (either 0,0 or 1.9, 3), substitute a point in the slope-intercept equation that i just gave into (x, y) then solve for b algebraically

let's do the first step, substitute the slope first and tell me what you have
y=1.5x+b
right?
yes ^_^ then let's say we'll choose (1.9, 3)-->(x,y) , we substitute it in the formula that you have: \( 3=1.5(1.9)+ b\) try to solve for b
wait, i just found something strange here, if we will use the point (1.9,3), i got \(y=1.5x+0.15\) but if we will choose the point (0,0) , i got \(y=1.5x\) are the coordinates supposed to be on the same line or not necessary?
