Hey. Can anyone help me? I know an answer, but I need an explanation: How many moles are there in 450ml of a 2.3M solution?

2.3M is 2.3mol/l?

yes, thats right, so the number of moles "m" equals the molarity "M" times the volume in litres. m = 2.3 x 0.45
