OpenStudy (anonymous):

how can I solve this by d2y/dx2 by implicit differentiations: x^3+y^3=1

OpenStudy (zubhanwc3):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well the first dy/dx is the deravite with respect to y, so 3x^2+3y^2dy/dx=0

OpenStudy (zubhanwc3):

is that good enough? and i want a medal for it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dy/dx(3y^2)=-3x^2... dy/dx= -x^2/y^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And zub your wrong all you did was search it up without reading, she asked for the second der not the first.

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

By the way - to do these kindsn of problems recursively use dy/dx you find

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Quotient rule next, (y^2)(-2x)-(-x^2)(2y dy)/ -(y^2)^2

OpenStudy (zubhanwc3):

fine here is the second deriv part of it.

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

@zubhanwc3 , stop answer sniping, or I will report you.

OpenStudy (zubhanwc3):

answer sniping? all im doing is answering othe peoples question.

OpenStudy (zubhanwc3):

wats wrong with helping others, they get help, and i get possible medals, its to equal out my asking questions ^^

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

@zubhanwc3 , answer sniping is when someone is actively helping another out and you blurt out an answer. It's distracting to the asker, and downright disrespectful to the answerer. I will not, to the best of my abilities, allow you to do so on this website.

OpenStudy (zubhanwc3):

i answered before he did

OpenStudy (zubhanwc3):

i had the first post, and i got a reply to it, so i continued my answer

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

No a crude version of wolfram alpha answered, and you obviously showed you lack of knowledge of calculus. In any case, I am no longer going to derail this thread. @RobertSn , my apologies.

OpenStudy (ranga):

Noura: Follow the proper steps that RobertSn has shown you.

OpenStudy (zubhanwc3):

@inkyvoyd i just used the easy way out, i had a method, so instead of making it hard to read, i used a clean readable method, i dont see where this has to do with my knowledge, i knew how to do it, but its annoying to type away.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe the second der posted by zubh is actually incorrect also

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

@RobertSn , I don't believe the answer is correct either. I saw no recursive implicit differentiation and I don't know of another way to do the problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't get it with second derivative, HELP ME my exam after a few hours !!!

OpenStudy (zubhanwc3):

the second one is a continuation of the first one >.>

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay noura im gonna work on it so il post soon
