how much Cu(OH)2 can you make from Na2CO3?
that depends on the quantity of Na2CO3 you use in your experiment dear.....
http://www.webqc.org/balance.php?reaction=Cu%28NO3%292%28aq%29+%2B+Na2CO3%28s%29+%2B+H2O+%3D+CuCO3*Cu%28OH%292%28s%29+%2B+NaNO3%28aq%29+%2B+CO2%28g%29 this might be helpful!!
ok one minute I will send the numbers
you need to start with decompostion of the sodium carbonate, followed by synthesis reaction to produce sodium hydroxide. Next, confirm the concentration of the sodium hydroixde by the special type of double displacement-titration and finally, precipitate of copper (II) hydroixde
We used 3g for Na2CO3
@chmvijay can help u ! i think.
yup ur right Na2CO3 + 2 H2O --> H2CO3 + 2 NaOH one mole of Na2CO3 gives rise to two Mole so NaOH now can u do that
when whats the next stepp
2 moles of NaOH produces 1 mole of Cu(OH)2 it mean one mole of Na2CO3 produces 1 mole of Cu(OH)2 canu convert tit into grams and do the calculations
did u get it ?
