you need to understand when we balance an equation we are basically balancing the quantities of reactants. basically we are saying how many moles of calcium hydroxide and phosphoric acid do we need to produce tricalcium phosphate and without wasting any reactants.

H3PO4(aq) + Ca(OH)2(aq) are two different solutions. H3PO4 is an acid and Ca(OH)2 is a base, when they react with each other, they will always make water and an ionic compound/salts. In this case the ionic compound is Tricalcium Phosphate. This is a double displacement reaction where calcium ions will displace hydrogen ions from H3(PO4) compound and make a stronger bond with phosphate to become tricalcium phosphate Ca3(PO4)2 and the rest is just just water.
