There are ionic type bonds. What you're doing is basically switching the + and - of each. So you have: \(\sf \color{red}{K^+~and~ OH^- +H^+~and~HCO_3^-\rightarrow }\)

i got 2KOH + H2CO3 ----> K2(CO3) + 2H2O but its not balanced so how do i balance it??
