ANSWER GETS MEDAL! What is entropy and how is it related to energy?
Try these websites: http://physics.info/thermo-second/ http://webs.morningside.edu/slaven/Physics/entropy/entropy4.html http://www.nmsea.org/Curriculum/Primer/what_is_entropy.htm http://www.science.uwaterloo.ca/~cchieh/cact/applychem/entropy.html Hope they help! :)
On a macroscopic scale entropy is a function of thermodynamic variables, as temperature, pressure, or composition, that is a measure of the energy that is not available for work during a thermodynamic process.
Changes in entropy can be quantitatively related to the distribution or the spreading out of the energy of a thermodynamic system. Hope this has helped :)
Thanks :)
No problem hun (:
