Question about converting equations.... I was hoping to have some help on converting these equations. 1. Convert the function into standard form. Y=2(x-4)(x+3) 2. Convert the function into standard form. Y-2=-3(x+4)^2 For this one I got, y=3x^2+8x+18 <-- I don't know if this is correct though. 3. Convert the function into INTERCEPT form. y= -x^2+5x+36
What is definition of "standard form"?

"standard form" seems to be A x^2 + B x + C = 0
Ah. so would this be right than? -2x^2+2x+y+24=0 for the first one?

I believe "y=" only appears in front of intercept form equations. But maybe not. Thanks for trying to help.
