Find the mass of ammonia formed when 100g of nitrogen gas reacts with hydrogen gas according to the balanced chemical equation: N2+3H2--->2NH3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Should be 121.38 grams mol of N2 = approx 3.57mol according to the equation it has a 1:3:2 relationship means for every mole of N2 it will produce 2mol of NH3 since mol of N2 is 3.57 then mol of NH3 should be 3.57x2= approx 7.14mol lastly we convert 7.14 mol to weight. 7.14mol x 17 (relative mass of NH3) = 121.38 grams
