Am i right @campbell_st @tkhunny
Is it suppose to be -1 ?
No. 5 and \(\sqrt{5}\) are not the same thing.
Hello, Ello, May I suggest that you simplify the 2nd term of your result?
It says to apply distributive property :o
Personally, I would never, ever write \(\sqrt{5}\cdot\sqrt{5} = \sqrt{25}\) unless I was trying to make some point that doesn't come to mind. \(\sqrt{5}\cdot\sqrt{5} = 5\). Just my opinion.
This is what they put, √5(4−√5) (√5)(4)−(√5)(√5) 4√5−(√5•5) 4√5−5 −5+4√5
I did it first on paper to see if i could do it on my own D:
Well, there you go. Don't you dare write that "-1" and blue oval, again!
O_O what?!
So I'm suppose to just keep it -5 + 4sqr5 ?
What else were you planning to do with it? There are no "like" terms to process.
Ohh i forgot that they're suppose to be like terms U_U -sigh- Sanku :P
