HELP!!! VERY IMPORTANT! Fuel cells have been developed that can generate a large amount of energy. For example, a hydrogen fuel cell works by combining hydrogen and oxygen gas to produce water and electrical energy. If a fuel cell can generate 10.0 kilowatts of power and the current is 15.8 amps, what is the voltage of the electricity?

random231 (random231):

use P=VI,,, remember to convert kilowatts to watts.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay I did watts=volts x amperes 10000=632.91 x 15.8 answer=633 Does that seem correct?

random231 (random231):

where did ya get 632.91?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divided 10000 by 15.8

random231 (random231):

15.8/10000 will be the answer!

OpenStudy (farcher):

power = voltage x current hence voltage (volt) = power (watt) / current (amp) =10000/15.8

random231 (random231):

@Farcher power is not 10000!!!!!!!!! :(
