KMnO4=total mass of 158.9g HCL=total mass of36g calculate the total mass of the reactants & total mass of the products. Please explain how you got it!

Is any mass destroyed?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, we're just doing Chemical Reactions and Interpreting Equations I have the molar mass of them both then it just says to find the total mass of the reactants and products and i'm confused on what to do.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Without quite giving you the answer, I wanted to tell you that mass is almost never destroyed, so that if you have a total mass X of reactants, you will have a total mass X of products. I tried to write you, but messaging has stalled. [Exception is nuclear processes where Einstein's E = m c^2 comes into play.]
