the 1/2 arctan e^x/2+ c
is also correct!!
OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why don't you plug your problem in wolframalpha.com and verify your answers?
hartnn (hartnn):
ok, so what you took as "a"
see this,
\(\Large 3x^2 -2 = 3 ( x^2 - 2/3) \)
comparing x^2 - 2/3 with x^2 -a^2
what would your "a" be ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Would that be 2/3?

hartnn (hartnn):
a^2 = 2/3
a=..
OpenStudy (anonymous):
4/9!
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oh wait..
OpenStudy (anonymous):
well wouldn't a be RAD (2/3)?
hartnn (hartnn):
\(a^2 = 2/3 \\ a = \sqrt {2/3}\)
