OpenStudy (anonymous):

hartnn (hartnn):

one of them, with the answer (1/5)arcsin... is correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay! ok i had a feeling that one was good. :) not sure about the others!

hartnn (hartnn):

the 1/2 arctan e^x/2+ c is also correct!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes! :)

hartnn (hartnn):

how did you solve the last remaining one ?

hartnn (hartnn):

i think you messed that up...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats the one i was having trouble with the most :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i went off this formula..

Why don't you plug your problem in wolframalpha.com and verify your answers?

hartnn (hartnn):

ok, so what you took as "a" see this, \(\Large 3x^2 -2 = 3 ( x^2 - 2/3) \) comparing x^2 - 2/3 with x^2 -a^2 what would your "a" be ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would that be 2/3?

hartnn (hartnn):

a^2 = 2/3 a=..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4/9!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh wait..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well wouldn't a be RAD (2/3)?

hartnn (hartnn):

\(a^2 = 2/3 \\ a = \sqrt {2/3}\)

hartnn (hartnn):

so, your integral now |dw:1391968629125:dw|
