Substance A has a higher heat capacity than does substance B, and substance B has a higher heat capacity than does substance C. If you add the same amount of heat to all three, which order shows the proper temperature increase for the three substances? Temperature of C will increase first, then B, then A. Temperature of A will increase first, then B, then C. Temperature of B will increase first, then C, then A.
Temperature of C will increase first, then B, then A.
Higher heat capacity means a higher hc needed to raise the temp.. So therefore, C will increase first because it has the lowest heat capacity, then B, then A.
DUDE! @1996bmw !!!!!!! i said u these questions cannot be answered unless they specify the masses of the substances
You're assuming that they have the same masses
@AnthonyStark
if they say ALL the substances are of same mass , then no problem....what @dixiemitsy and what @stuck_in_the_middle said earlier would be correct!
and they shouldve said " Specific heat capacity" not "heat capacity"
