Which is most likely to be part of an ionic bond? (1 point) an atom with no valence electrons an atom with one valence electron an atom with two valence electrons an atom with three valence electrons
what do you think it is?
c
ionic compounds are formed between elements which have a very high difference in electronegativity. Electronegativity is the property of an element to pull electrons. When the difference electronegativity is high (i forgot the specific number) the more electronegative atom completely takes away an electron from the less electronegative atom. That generally applies to metal (less electroneg) + non metal (more electroneg) pairs of elements. ~yahoo This should help you.
Which one will most likely accept electrons or remove its valence electrons?
I don't think it's C btw.
i actually think its d i was just testing that person to see if they would just agree with me
wolf i would pay you $50 to help me with this quiz
That's cheating
I can help you study and prepare for quizzes though. I can do personal tutoring.
