1. Attached earlobes is a recessive trait, so the parents are both homozygous recessive, usually noted as ff, since free earlobes, F, is dominant.

I can't say about the other ones, I only have some info that will help A phenotype is the physical appearance of genes. -->Red hair A GENOtype is the genes that make up the phenotype.-->rr (lower case because redhair is recessive) So its unclear if the trait your describing is dominant/recessive + idk who the "people" are so... If the trait is "dominant" then it will show up over the recessive. W/ the info you provided its hard to tell if earlobes are dominant or recessive, but if its dominant than its represented by either (Dd) or (DD) if its recessive than its represented by (dd) If either the mother or has (DD) than its impossible to have a (dd) child. (DD) X (DD) will NOT give (dd) but if both of them are (Dd)x(Dd) than theres a 25% of getting a (dd) child. So basically, figure out if the trait is recessive or dominant. If the child is born with a recessive trait, then the parents either have to be both recessive (dd) or heterogeneous (Dd).
