a triangle with three different sides lenghts is called
Equilateral Scalene Isosceles Those are your options...
Do you know which triangle has all sides equal @maria4443
A. scalene. B. equilateral. C. isosceles. D. equiangular.
Which one has ALL equal sides? Hint: It is in the name...
b!!!
Okay so we can eliminate that one...
Which one can you also eliminate... we are talking about sides here...
nvm idk ): im so confused but thanyou so much for helping
thankyou
A. scalene. B. equilateral. (Eliminated) C. isosceles. D. equiangular. (Eliminated: Because this is dealing with angles) Can you narrow it down from there?
Did you check out the link... http://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/triangles-interactive.html
i did do i thought the answer would be B
It says the side lengths are DIFFERENT.... It would be B if it were all the SAME
Scalene, an easy way to remember is that equilateral say equal in it, just rearranged, isosceles has two pairs or letters in them, two s's and two e's, so it would have two equal sides. scalene has the word scale in it, on a scale the numbers are rarely the same and scalene only has one pair of letters, the two e's. That's my way of remembering them.
That is a good way to remember... they always just came easily for me by seeing them so much.
so my answer is scalene- no equil sides no equil angles
yea, if they dont have equal sides then they are likely to now have equal angles.
thankyou so much guys!!!
im glad theres people out there like ya to help
no problem
