A small cork with an excess charge of +5.0 µC is placed 0.12 m from another cork, which carries a charge of −3.2 µC. What is the magnitude of the electric force between the corks? The Coulomb constant is 8.98755 × 109 N · m2 /C 2 . Answer in units of N

OpenStudy (theeric):

Here's my hint to you, since you're not online at the moment: \(F=k\dfrac{q_1\ q_2}{x^2}\) Here, \(k\) is the Coulomb constant, \(q_1\) is the charge of one cork, and \(q_2\) is the charge of the other, and \(x\) is the distance between the charges (so, between the corks).
