A ladder 3 metres long is leaning against the side of the wall. If the foot of the ladder slides away from the wall at a speed of 30cm/s, how fast is the top end sliding down the wall when the foot of the ladder is 1 metre away from the wall?

It should be equal
Meaning the rates should cancel out each other to become 0?
Whoops, missed the top/foot of the ladder part
This should probably be in the physics forum but anyway If the bottom slides out, logically the top has to move So the rate at which the top moves is proportionate to the bottom Otherwise, the ladder would be growing in length
