A particle is moving along the curve y=2sqrt(4x+5). As the particle passes through the point (1,6) its x-coordinate increases at a rate of 5 units per second. Find the rate of change of the distance from the particle to the origin at this instant.

distance s=sqrt(x^2+y^2) now you have to calculate ds/dt so differentiate above equation and differentiate curve equation wrt t you will get relation between dy/dt and dx/dt now using this and values x=1 and y=6 you will get final answer.
