19. When holding the number of moles and temperature constant a. As pressure increases the volume increases b. As pressure increases the volume decreases c. As pressure decreases the volume increases d. There is no relationship between pressure and volume
can i get some help plzz
Ideal gas equation again :) imprint this equation in your mind. \[\Huge pV=nRT\] Using the equation say what the answer is! :)
im confuesed
Okay. Lets try solve for the volume and see what we can conclude: \[\Large pV=nRT \to v=\frac{ nRT }{ p }\] Now what happens if we increase \(p\)? If \(p\) increase the denominator increase, and if the denominator increase the whole fraction is getting lower, so if p increase v decrease. Can you follow that?
ya
Perfect. So the answer is? :)
b.
