Hi can anyone help me find moles of air!!!! I'm struggling with this formula

OpenStudy (abb0t):

What is your starting value of air (\(\sf \color{red}{O_2}\))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i really don't know i'm working on a Vapor pressure experiment, i have to use a formula

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[N _{air}=\frac{ PV }{ RT }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my R will equal 0.8206, T=350, V=0.0075 but i don't know what P will equal

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Rearrange your formula. Reemember what you did to a formula to solve for something in algebra?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but if i rearrange my formula i would have to know the moles of air

OpenStudy (abb0t):

I would assume 1 mol if you were not given a specific starting number.
