In order to prepare a 0.65 molality solution of potassium sulfate, how many grams of potassium sulfate should be added to 1.36 kg of water?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

1.36 kg = 1.36 liters

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do I take the molar mass of K2S04 and multiply it by the molality?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

So if you wanted 1 liter of 1 Molality solution, you would use 1 molar mass. You want 1.36 L so multiply the molar mass by 1.36

OpenStudy (mertsj):

But of course, you don't want a 1 molal solution. You want .65 molal. So multiply that previous answer by .65

Thank you so much!!!
