Find an equation of the line: Through (3,3); m=-5/7
use the point-slope formula
go quick look it up and see!!!!!
would this be the answer: 5x+7y=36?
how did you get that answer?
i really suck at math
question: how did you get that answer answer: I really suck at math I don't think we are having the same conversation
actually the answer has to be in standard form not the point slope one
The given info includes the point (3,3) and the slope m=-5/7. @nincompoop is correct in suggesting that you look up the point-slope form. If you have a textbook for your course, please look there. If not, do a quick Internet search for "point-slope." This research will likely give you the "point-slope formula." True, the answer needs to be put into standard form, but the easiest way to get there is to use the point-slope formula first and then convert the result to the equation of a line in standard form.
@chringuyen86, @nincompoop and and @mathmale are right, once you have an equation with point slope form, all you gotta do is find a way to convert it to standard form
the point-slope will help you solve the problem and then from point-slope you can pretty much turn it into slope-intercept form or standard form
