Can someone help me explain this?
Explain what?
I had an essay question: Find all solutions to the equation. 7 sin2x - 14 sin x + 2 = -5 And I put this: First you add 5, then divide by seven, and get sin^2x -2sin x +1. Then you factor, and get (sin x-1)^2. Because this doesn't have a restricted domain, there are an infinite number of solutions. And my teacher put this: Please schedule a call so you can clarify your last sentence for me. :-) Mr. Harmon How do I explain that?
I mean, the Domain is AR#'s, right?
Wouldn't the equation be sin^2x -2sin x +1 = 0
Well, yes. But I just don't get how to "clarify" that it has an infinite number of solutions.. I kind of got some help on this question..
I don't why it doesn't have a restricted domain and has an infinite number of solutions.
Doesn't that go together?
I don't know. I just thought you might want someone to calculate an answer - NOT explanations of restricted domains. Oh well.
No. I wanted help explaining the answer. "Can someone help me explain this?"
Well then no I can't.
Thank you.. God bless you, sir.
okay
