is this a pythagorean triple: seventy, eighty four, one hundred sixteen

Well, if it is, it simply needs to satisfy this equation: \[a^2 + b^2 = c^2\] So solve that out, and tell me if it's true.
thats the pythagorean thereom not the equation to pythagorean triples :3

The triples need to satisfy that and also be whole numbers--integers.
He/she wasn't wrong, lol, just check to see if it works and you'll have your answer. Use the two smaller numbers, square them, add them, take the root and see if they equal the third. \[c(largest number)=\sqrt{a^{2}+b^{2}}\]
