Help would be greatly appreciated!!! A uniform electric field of magnitude 282 V/m is directed in the positive x direction. A +23.5-microCoulomb charge moves from the origin to the point (x,y) = (20.0 cm, 22.0 cm). (a) What was the change in the potential energy (in Joules) of this charge?

Change in potential energy = work done in moving the charge W = Force times distance parallel to force Force = charge times electric field
Oh that makes more sense now. Thanks so much!
Glad to help. You are very welcome.
