What is the molarity of NO−3 in 0.160M KNO3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you asking for the concentration of the NO3- ion in a .160M KNO3 solution? you can set up an entire reaction to determine concentration (molarity). however, since we know that KNO3 is a strong electrolyte, it will dissociate in water completely, and the concentration of the ion is the same as the concentration of the salt being dissolved.

How would I set up the equation? I am doing a homework question that requires a numerical answer.

your equation would look like this |dw:1394589941997:dw|
