moles / L = molarity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know that. I just don't know how to put it into a equation to work out. :/

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

Molarity = number of moles of solute/volume of solution in liter find the number of moles of solute that is 450.0 g of C6H12O6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Molarity = numlber of moles/volume in liters... given that 450g of C6H12O6 is present in 2.50 x 10^2Cm3... 1cm3 = 0.001liters then 2.50 x 10^2 cm3 = ?liters thus, 2.50 x 10^2cm3 = 0.25liters number of moles = given weight/molecular weight molecular weight of C6H12O6 = 180.1559g/mol number of moles = 450/180.1559 = 2.4978moles... thus, molarity = 2.4978/0.25 = 9.99M....

Thank you. (: I'm sure I'll figre the rest out.

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

lol nothing to figure out :P
