If 75 g of liquid water (C = 4.18 J/g-oC) in a calorimeter changes temperature from 25°C to 75°C, how much heat was transferred? Use the equation C = q/mT.

OpenStudy (aaronq):

use the equation given (needs a little rearrangement): \(q=m*C*(T_f-T_i)\) q=heat; C=specific heat capacity; \(T_f\)=final temperature;\(T_i\) = initial temp; m=mass
