is it true that the temperature of a volume of gas increases if the pressure of the gas or volume of the gas increases? Could be false/decrease

So the ideal gas law states that PV = nRT its a combination of a bunch of gas laws that essentially relates pressure, volume, number of moles, and temperature (with the ideal gas constant R) try and use this equation to get a feel for what would happen if you kept volume, and presumably the number of moles of gas the same and increased pressure
