how to solve.. How many mg of Mg(OH)2 will be needed to neutralize 25.0 mL of stomach acid if stomach acid is 0.110 M HCl? 2HCl + Mg(OH)2 --> MgCl2 + 2H2O

OpenStudy (aaronq):

approach this like you would any stoichiometry problem, convert the acid to moles and find how many moles of magnesium hydroxide you need.

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

This is also helpful: Molarity (M) = \[\frac{ numbers of moles }{ Volume (L) }\]
